Now there is less than one month of school left. Tomorrow makes it exactly one month until I arrive back in the States. WOW! The days are slipping by so quickly. We just finished the letter U, and had a lot of fun learning about such things as Up and Upside down. My students are so precious.
Saturday was Amy's 23rd birthday, so we threw her a surprise party Friday night at a nice restaurant down the street and enjoyed some good pizza and cake. She said it was the first time she didn't find out about a surprise party being planned for her-success! It was a good time with everyone.
Kiley is getting married in October, so I of course knew she needed some kind of bachelorette party in her honor! We got the girls together and headed to Santa Rosa on Saturday morning for a day and night full of fun and memories! The other girls walked around the town and went shopping while Stacey and I bought snacks and set up the hotel room for the party. The girls all came back to the hotel, we surprised Kiley, and the fun began! We ate snacks and played lots of games in the room, and then we went out to dinner and out for the night. The bride to be was all smiles all night; another success I'd say!

Three words were secretly chosen, bridezilla, wife, and ring...I kept a tally that night of each time she said any of those words...We all pitched in a lempira for each tally for a wedding fund! |
